1. About us
partywallagreementst7218.live-website.com/ ("the site") is operated by Konstruction (UK) Ltd, trading as Party Wall Agreement, a company registered in England & Wales (company number 08994748), whose registered office is at 99 Canterbury Road, Whitstable, Kent, CT5 4HG. Our trading address is Whitehall Works, Whitehall Lane, Grays, RM17 6SS. VAT number: 187947930. Contact: hello@partywall-agreement.co.uk · 08000 487897.
Konstruction (UK) Ltd also owns and operates partywall-notices.co.uk, which has its own terms.
2. Using the site
By using the site you accept these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.
3. No online orders or payments
You can’t order or pay for services through this site. Submitting an enquiry form, calling us or using the notice checker does not create a contract. It is a request for advice or a quote.
4. Fees
Fees shown on the site are fixed fees for the services and project types described (for example, domestic extensions and loft conversions), and are stated both excluding and including VAT at the current rate. Your fee is confirmed in writing before work starts and is invoiced on completion. Basement, commercial and other projects are quoted individually. Under the Party Wall etc. Act 1996, the fees of an adjoining owner’s surveyor are normally payable by the building owner, as the surveyors determine.
5. Appointment of surveyors
Enquiries are handled by a qualified surveyor from our team, usually chosen by the location of the property. The surveyor appointed will issue their own terms of engagement or letter of appointment, which governs the services they provide to you. Under the Act, a surveyor appointed under section 10 must act impartially, and their statutory duties take precedence. We don’t guarantee that any particular named surveyor will be appointed.
6. Guidance is not legal advice
Articles, guides, diagrams and FAQs on the site are general information about the Party Wall etc. Act 1996 in England and Wales. They are not legal or professional advice for your circumstances, and diagrams are illustrative and not to scale. Please get advice about your own project before you rely on them.
7. Notice checker
The “Do I need a party wall agreement?” checker gives an automated, indicative answer based only on the information you enter. It may be incomplete or wrong for your project, and it doesn’t replace a surveyor reviewing your plans. We accept no responsibility for decisions made solely on the basis of its results. Statutory time limits run from the date a notice is served, so act promptly.
8. Liability
We take care to keep the site accurate, but we provide it “as is” without warranties. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from use of, or reliance on, the site, including indirect loss, loss of profit or business interruption. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law. Liability for professional services is governed solely by the appointed surveyor’s terms of engagement.
9. Intellectual property
The content, logo, diagrams and design of the site belong to Konstruction (UK) Ltd or its licensors. You may print or share pages for personal, non-commercial use with attribution.
10. Links

12. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
